Preference Rule 2021 Enhanced Starters *

#1 Horses that made their last start at Parx for a trainer that is stabled on the grounds preferred – trainer transfers done to circumvent this rule will be least preferred

a) Should race overfill – horses that have made the most 2021 starts at Parx preferred

b) Should horses have equal amount of 2021 starts at Parx – preference will be determined by the drawing of lots 

#2 Horses that were claimed in their last start at Parx by a trainer stabled on the grounds shall have equal preference to the horses referenced in #1 above

#3 Horses which made their last start at Parx

a) Should race overfill – horses that have made the most 2021 starts at Parx preferred

b) Should horses have equal amount of 2021 starts at Parx – preference will be determined by the drawing of lots

#4 Horses that did not make their last start at Parx, preference will be given to:

a) Horses that have made the most 2021 starts at Parx preferred

b) Should horses have equal amount of 2021 starts at Parx – preference will be determined by the drawing of lots

#5 Should any of these race conditions be brought back to run on following days, horses that have been entered to run in the earlier scheduled races will be least preferred to get in the following  running of these races with preference given as follows:

i) Horses that have run in a previous division are preferred over horses that were scratched in previous divisions

ii) Horses that were scratched in a previous division will be least preferred over all other entries

#6 Racing Secretary shall make the final determination regarding preference should a preference issue arise that is not specifically covered by the above rules

1) No PA Bred preference in these races

2) No PA Bred Owner Bonus to be paid on earnings in these races

3) Winners preferred over Maidens

4) Other standard preference rules such as In Today Horses, Horses on Lists, etc. will be used in determining preferences
