Jockey Kendrick Carmouche Wins 3,000th Career Race

With a victory aboard Good Save in the fourth race on December 19, 2017 at Parx Racing, jockey Kendrick Carmouche notched the 3,000th win of his career. Riding for owners Pewter Stable & MJM Stable and trainer Kate DeMasi, Carmouche rallied the 4 year-old gelded son of Street Sense to the lead turning for home and drew clear through the final furlong, able to enjoy the moment, coming home a comfortable three lengths in front.

Carmouche started to dominant the jockey standings here at Parx beginning in 2008. He won four consecutive riding titles and then captured a fifth another year later. He subsequently left, riding now primarily in New York, but returns to Parx on occasion and continues to enjoy great success whenever he does come back. He is also a member of the Parx Racing Hall of Fame.
