There May Not Be a Visit From Smarty Jones,

But Labor Day at Parx Will Entertain the Best of PA Racing!

The PA Breeders will spotlight some of the best Pennsylvania – bred racehorses on Monday Sept. 7 at PARX Racing with 5 Stakes and over a half million in purses!

The Banjo Picker Sprint, The Dr. Teresa Garofalo Memorial, the Marshall Jenney Handicap, the Mrs Penny Stakes and the Storm Cat Stakes, and all PA Bred restricted races will make it a great day for racing in this state.

Currently, parx is racing with socially distanced and masked fans and owners present. Hopefully that will continue as we try to prevent the spread of the pandemic while continuing to love, care for and race our horses. Stay tuned and plan to enjoy a great day of live racing!!

Unfortunately, the normal festivities and luncheon will be cancelled due to COVID-19.

Many of our Pennsylvania owners and breeders need this day to get back in the black, both financially and with black type for their stock.

Nominations close Monday, July 27th for the September 7th races.
