Parx Racing to Be Regular Feature on Sirius XM’s “Down the Stretch”

The Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (PTHA) has entered into a programming agreement with Sirius XM radio. The PTHA and Parx Racing will be featured on a segment every Saturday morning as part of their “Down the Stretch” program, which is hosted by National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Announcer Dave Johnson and award-winning writer Bill Finley. Also part of the show each week will be Parx Racing Hall of Famer and Eclipse Award-winning writer Dick Jerardi.

The shows airs every Saturday morning on Sirius Channel 93 and XM Channel 93 from 10 am to 1 pm. The Parx Racing segment will begin this Saturday, January 6, 2017, at approximately 11 am.

Sirius XM has over 31 million subscribers and is available throughout the U.S. and Canada. In satellite radio, there is no way to accurately measure the size of a particular show’s audience, but Sirius management has estimated that “Down the Stretch” has about 250,000 listeners.
