Mychel Sanchez Looking Out for Fellow Jockey

After winning the 6th race on April 7th, Mychel Sanchez celebrated his win by donating his share to fellow jockey, Silvestre Gonzalez. Silvestre had recently been injured after his fall last month at Parx Racing, along with Edwin Rivera, who was involved in the accident as well.

Mychel won the race with Wushu Warrior, who was originally Silvestre’s mount.

We pray for a full recovery for both Silverstre and Edwin, and are grateful for Mychel Sanchez for showing great sportsmanship and compassion for his fellow jockeys.
