Gates open at 11:00 am. Featuring the $300,000 Smarty Jones Stakes (G3) and the $100,000 Salvatore M. DeBunda PTHA President’s Cup – a part of the 2018 MATCH Series! Plus, free family fun, food and drink specials and live music in the picnic grove from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Pennsylvania’s Day at the Races
Featuring $1 million in purses for Pennsylvania-Breds! Stakes races include the $100,000 Banjo Picker Sprint, $100,000 Roanoke Stakes, $100,000 Power By Far Stakes, $100,000 Dr. Theresa Garofalo Memorial Stakes and the $100,000 Mrs. Penny Stakes. All undercard races are boosted to double their standard purses – all for PA-Breds! Master handicapper “Hudg” will be available from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm to offer his free picks and handicapping tips.

Labor Day at Parx Racing
Gates open at 11:00 am. Featuring the $300,000 Turf Monster Stakes (G3) and $200,000 Greenwood Cup (G3)! Plus, free family fun, food and drink specials and live music by the Jess Zimmerman Band in the picnic grove from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. There will also be a selfie stick giveaway (while supplies last) and photo contests!

Owners Appreciation Day at Parx Racing
All licensed Parx Racing owners are cordially invited to an exciting day at the races, with doubled purses! All attendees to the complimentary luncheon on the third floor will receive free gifts, and all owners with horses racing on Owners Appreciation Day will receive additional gifts in the paddock before each race. Winning owners of each race will be presented with even more gifts!

Hall of Fame Day at Parx Racing
The PTHA and Parx Racing will be presenting the new inductees to the Parx Racing Hall of Fame between each race. Stay tuned for the final vote tallies to see who will join the likes of Smarty Jones, Gallant Bob and Dainty Dotsie! Also featured is the $100,000 Roamin Rachel Stakes – a part of the 2018 MATCH Series.

Pennsylvania Derby Day
Gates open at 11:00 am and post time is moved up to 12:25 pm. Featuring two million-dollar Grade 1 races – the $1 million Pennsylvania Derby (G1) and the $1 million Cotillion Stakes (G1), plus the $300,000 Gallant Bob Stakes (G3) $150,000 PA Derby Champion “West Coast” Stakes and the $100,000 Alphabet Soup Stakes for PA-Breds. Find plenty of free family fun, food and drink specials, photo booth, horseshoe decorating and much more! There will also be a PA Derby hat giveaway (while supplies last).
