From his obituary:
“Manuel was born in Santruce, Puerto Rico. But lived most of his life in Pennsylvania.
Manuel was survived by his two daughters:
Mariluz Mendez-Cabrera (Celso Cabrera) of Hatboro, Pa. and Mayra I. Mendez (Jeff Sears) of Horsham, Pa.
Also survived by his beautiful grandchildren who he loved and enjoyed spending time with: Jeffrey Sears of Horsham, Pa.;
Kristal Quinones, Jon Quinones, Nathan Quinones of Warminster, Pa.; Christian “Macho” Mendez and Jayden Cabrera of Hatboro, Pa. Also two precious great-grandchildren Sophia Quinones and Anthony ( AJ) Crawford.
Manuel had a passion and enjoyed horses very much. He spent most of his life assisting in training and caring for them. He was also a huge Phillies fan and enjoyed sports. Spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and his long time girlfriend Mary Jane Sims (of Hatboro, Pa.) brought him happiness.
After a long battle with health issues due to diabetes, Manuel is now at peace, but forever in our hearts.”
