Parx Fans Allowed Trackside on the Apron
Beginning Monday, July 13th, Parx fans will be allowed outside on the apron to watch the races live! Concession stands and lounges are open, and while masks and social distancing are to be enforced, patrons can go in and out of the Grandstand to enjoy the fresh air and excitement of watching the horses race from the rail!
The tunnel entrance will be open to all licensed personnel, who will submit to a temperature check and have their licenses on their person.
Restricted areas, such as the Paddock and Winners’ Circle, will remain closed to anyone except two people per horse running in the race. Owners can watch from outside the paddock area on the apron.
There will be a no smoking rule enforced on the apron surrounding the Paddock under the roof and in any tight quarters. Those wishing to smoke may do so spread out on the front apron and out the front doors of the Grandstand. Masks are necessary. Please continue social distancing of six feet, washing hands, and please do not come if you have been in any of the ‘hot’ areas defined by the state of Pennsylvania.
It is still fun to watch and bet from home! Craig Donnelly picks, programs, and betting information from Parx are all available on our PTHA Website under Parx Racing.
