Michelle Peoples and her father Robert specialize in the rehabilitation of Thoroughbred racehorses. Some of the leading trainers at Parx Racing send their layups to the farm in Souderton, Pennsylvania, entrusting their best horses to their care. It became a no-brainer for Turning for Home to also send long term rehabilitation cases to the farm.
Michelle is an exercise rider in the mornings for Grade 1-winning trainer Ned Allard, ponies during the afternoon races at Parx (including ponying Pennsylvania Derby competitors such as California Chrome and 2016 winner Connect), and teaches riding lessons for young children during her rare free time on the farm.
