Cardinal Ridge Equestrian Center is a premier training, boarding and rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful hills of Barre, Massachusetts. The farm has a lovely indoor arena, a well-maintained outdoor arena and miles of groomed trails. The center is an adult-oriented multi-disciplined facility, and for dressage clients (western dressage included) has two talented trainers on staff, while for trail riding clients Rutland State Park is easily accessed.
Cardinal Ridge Equestrian Center strives to make its clients and their horses comfortable and happy. To make this happen they have a heated tack room, heated viewing lounge and bathroom for client use and private turnout, deep bedding and 4 feedings a day for the horses. The farm holds several events a year, including Versatility Clinics, Dressage (Western too!) shows and clinics, driving clinics, and other activities.
Since an early age, owner Karla Christiansen has been in the “horse world”, as her father Ned Allard is a well-respected thoroughbred racehorse trainer. This experience is what makes her fantastic at what she does, she has realized that patience and persistence is the key to managing young thoroughbreds, cranky older mares and recovering rescued horses and ponies. Her desire to make a supportive and uplifting place for her clients to enjoy time with their horse is the motivating factor for her creation of Cardinal Ridge Equestrian Center.
