Live Racing This Friday at Parx

Parx Racing has added an extra day of live racing this Friday to kick off their festivities for the 4th of July holiday weekend. This Friday the track will host an 8 race program with a regular 12:25PM post time in effect. Festivities Friday include live music in the track’s beautiful picnic grove, BBQ and drink specials, prizes and giveaways and free Family Fun for the kids.

Sponsored by 92.5 XTU, the live music will be provided by Shot of Southern. Described as “Philly’s Modern Country Band”, they’ll open their first set at 1PM and play until 4PM. Fans will have a chance to win wagering vouchers and merchandise throughout the day. Holiday BBQ will be offered all weekend and face painters and a moon bounce will be available for the kids.
