“Incensed”

Incensed is a big beautiful bay respectfully retired by Joe Taylor. The eight-year-old gelding, who was a warhorse, raced seventy times at seventeen different racetracks from across the country. He achieved nine wins, fifteen seconds and earnings just under $300,000. Forget all the nice things in life, a new car, a bunch of cash, or going to the Breeders’ Cup… this is what success looks like. A happy horse and happy family… you can keep the rest! This guy has transitioned into his retirement with ease and lives with his new family in South Carolina who absolutely adore him, and you can see how happy he is!He lives with his family Elizabeth and her kids, and truly defeats the stereotypes of crazy OTTBs… becoming a true family pet. From riding bareback, western, and toting the kids around, this guy is always the last on trails, taking his sweet time. The greatest thing about these OTTBs that makes them such versatile and solid horses is that they are exposed to so much at the racetrack, from a great training foundation, being handled daily, to traveling and just daily exposure to life at the track! We are certainly excited to follow this guys new career.
