As of March 13, 2020, due to the public health concerns, live racing at Parx will be suspended until further notice.
PTHA will cut back hours and the HPA store will have limited hours 8-12. Mon-Sat, so plan accordingly for supplies.
Training hours are remaining the same, however, they are subject to change. This decision has been made to help protect and maintain the health and safety of all employees, horses, horsemen, and customers.
Due to the cancellation of racing, entries will not be taken until further notice. Jail time on horses claimed at Parx is suspended; these horses are allowed to be entered and run at other tracks.
Parx claiming jail time will go back into effect on the first entry day when racing is resumed.
The PTHA’s Horsemen’s Awards Banquet scheduled on Thursday, April 16, 2020, is postponed until further notice.
