During the period of time we are on a break from racing – August 8, 2018 through August 24, 2018 – any horses claimed at Parx Racing prior to August 8, 2018 will be temporarily released from “jail”. Once live racing resumes on August 25, 2018, should any said horses have jail time remaining, they will be forced to complete the remaining jail time.

Horsemen are reminded that they still must incur the 25% raise in claiming price for the 30 days after the claim, regardless of where they intend to run and no claimed horse may be sold for a period of 30 days from the date of the claim.
