Stanley I. Joselson

Biography: Stanley Joselson loved horse racing from the time he drew the “short straw” and had to buy out his friends when they all lost their money in a racing partnership. He went on to start Josco Farm in Pennington, NJ and began successfully breeding his own horses, many named after family and friends. Cheating Arthur, named for a card playing acquaintance and ridden regularly by Rick Wilson, was a Philadelphia Park fan favorite, as was homebred Clocks Secret, who won the Gr.III Prioress S. and Gr.III Genuine Risk S. His stallion, Two Davids, was named for his son. Joselson lived in Bala Cynwyd, PA and gave up the business in 1987, and passed away in 2010.
