Biography: Born in 1965 in Harrisburg, PA. First win was with Niminy Piminy in 1987 at Penn National. Lives near Philadelphia with his wife, former jockey Jennifer Stisted, and his two children.

Career Highlights: Won 8 training titles at Philadelphia Park, including 7 in a row from 1999-2005, and has also been leading trainer at Penn National, Delaware Park, Pimlico and Laurel. Won his 5,000th race in December 2010, the sixth trainer ever to do so. Led nation in wins in 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2006. Eclipse Award finalist in 2000 and 2001. Saddled Thunderello to a 2nd in the 2002 Breeders’ Cup Sprint, and Shake You Down for a 3rd in 2003.
