Biography: No owner in the history of our Bensalem oval has left a bigger mark on the sport of horse racing. Over the years, Plumstead Stables has collected more than ten Leading Owner titles at Philadelphia Park – an absolutely astounding feat.

Plumstead Stables is the breeding and ownership operation of trainer Robert Seeger and his wife Roberta. The couple is also prominent in the Pennsylvania breeding industry. The Seegers bred and owned graded stakes winner Tri for the Gold, a winner of ten races including four stakes races at Philadelphia Park. In addition, Plumstead Stables bred and raced 2000 Philadelphia Park Champion 2yo Filly Golden Lake and 2006 Philadelphia Park Champion 3yo Male Chase the Line.

While at Philadelphia Park, the Seegers also actively claimed and purchased horses who went on to become excellent additions to their barn, including 1996 Philadelphia Park Champion 2yo Filly Lovelorn Lady and 2006 Philadelphia Park Champion Older Male Stringtown Wonder.
