1993 Bay Horse by Devil’s Bag-Dancing Heroine, by Heros Honor

Biography: Walter Reese and Al Carpenito purchased Devil’s Honor in 1995 at the two-year-olds in training sale in Maryland for about $35,000. A three-time stakes winner as a juvenile for Al and his wife, Noreen, he was campaigned with a look toward the Kentucky Derby as a three-year-old, but was injured at Remington Park in the prep for the Remington Derby. Waiting out the Triple Crown races, he came back to win the Pennsylvania Derby. He was eventually retired to Jazz Napravnik’s Flying Horse Farm in Maryland where he had moderate success as a timber horse. He is currently the lead pony for Napravnik’s racing operation.
