Important Notice for Horsemen & Private Veterinarians
On December 1, 2016, the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission released an important notice for horsemen and private veterinarians. As of January 1, 2017, per PA Code, Title 58, Section 163.302, all containers of medications must be labeled properly and by prescription. All containers are subject to testing, and any that are not properly labeled or ones that do not come back verified after testing may be subject to penalty to trainers and also dispensing veterinarians.
